A Day in the Life of a Mother Turned Author

As the monitor baths the darkened room in the warm glow of my monitor, I type, and the words for this blog post leap onto the textbox. Loki, our rescued ginger cat, bounds up on the desk. He walks over my keyboard and onto the black desk’s built-in shelf. The day does not start until the feline greets me in this manner.

I will admit that I find blogging difficult. On any given day, I can come up with some plots for a hundred different books, but if someone sets me before the computer to blog, I will simply stare at the blinking cursor.

As an author, I know blogging is a huge platform I must delve into. I cannot afford not to. As 2017 slowly passed us by, I searched for numerous topics an author could blog about: “My 5 Quickie Authors”, “How To’s” were among the first ideas that I read about as my monitor bathed me in its iridescent glow.
