3 Tips on How to Find Your True Love

“When you’re in love, you’re capable of learning everything and knowing things you had never dared even to think, because love is the key to understanding of all the the mysteries.” ― Paulo Coelho

Whether or not we want to admit it, many of us are seeking a partner, our idea of a perfect person. We yearn to have someone by our side who will love us and stand beside us as we grow older.

True love is not a fairy tale. You might bump into the "one" on the street, but chances are it will not develop into anything. There is not one person who will check every qualification on your "perfect person" list.

True love is not a fairy tale. You might bump into the “one” on the street, but chances are it will not develop into anything. There is not one person who will check every qualification on your “perfect person” list.

It is possible to find someone to stand beside you, to share in your life’s heartache and joy. Below are three important traits to develop.

Love Who You Are.

The strongest aphrodisiac is simple. Look in the mirror. It is you at your best. Your authentic self will attract a partner who wants to be with you. If they cannot accept you for who you are, then should they be with you?

Think about what makes you happy? What do you want out of life? Out of a career? Do not please others. It’s too easy to get drawn into that and become a societal doormat. Learn the delicate balance of compromise.

Be the best person you can be.

Let’s cut right to the chase. No one wants a slob or a lazy person who cannot be bothered with changing their stained shirt. You’ll decided the person you attract, the right person for you. So, figure out what type of partner you want. Then, examine your life and see if you need any habits you have picked up.

Show your confidence.

Be confident in yourself. Once you did something, stick to that decision. If things blow up in your face, take responsibility. If you are being your best self, your confidence will shine through.

Know you are worthy of love. There might even be someone in your life right now who adores you but is too scared to come out and say it.
